The Institute of Cancer Research is one of the world’s most influential cancer research organisations. Hosting hundreds of research papers, insights and vital information on cancer research, their website is filled with rich and complex content.
This website redesign project was vast, spanning 18 months and incorporating insights from multiple stakeholder groups within and outside the organisation. With such a large website, our focus was to develop new information architecture to streamline navigation and accommodate the content.
Working with their new brand, we developed the visual language to work harder online, creating a vibrant, engaging website, supported by flexible digital guidelines. The site structure and search functionality were also transformed, making it more accessible, responsive, and ultimately easier for ICR to manage and update, with a new CMS platform.
