The construction of Hammerson’s much-anticipated luxury retail space is underway in Leeds. Anchored by John Lewis and Harvey Nichols, and encompassing the already established Victoria Quarter, this new luxury retail and leisure destination will attract wealthy shoppers from all over the North West. Working with Hammerson in London, we developed the name, brand positioning and visual language.
Leeds’ consumers are savvy, and proud of their rich and diverse city. Our brand idea, ‘The Fabric of Leeds’, celebrates both the history of Leeds’ textile industry, and the retail heart of the city centre. We named the overall development ‘Victoria Leeds’, complementing the strong brand of Victoria Quarter, and leveraging some of those luxury values across the rest of the estate.
